What is my rebooking rate worth?
Rebooking Rate Calculator
Rebooking is the cheapest growth there is: the client is already in the chair. This shows what walking out unbooked costs.

HOW THIS CALCULATION WORKS
A client who books before they leave comes back on your calendar, not on their memory. Every point of rebooking rate is a point of next month's schedule already filled.
- Rebooking rate = clients who rebook ÷ clients seen
- Yearly value per client = average ticket × visits per year
- Revenue at risk = unbooked clients × yearly value
A WORKED EXAMPLE
40 clients a week, 20 rebooked, is a 50% rate. The other 20 carry $450 a year each at a $45 ticket and 10 visits — $9,000 a week of exposure across the year.
These figures come from the example inputs above, not from industry data. ChairScale does not publish benchmark numbers until it has enough verified data to do it properly — read the methodology.
QUESTIONS BARBERS ASK
What counts as a rebooking?
A specific date and time taken before the client leaves. 'See you in a few weeks' is not a rebooking.
Does the exposure number mean I lose that money?
No. It is what is riding on those clients returning by chance instead of by appointment. Some will come back anyway — the point is that you cannot schedule around hope.
What is the simplest way to raise it?
Ask while the cape is still on, offer a specific time rather than a question, and write it down in front of them.
